Potentially significant captures of Corn Earworm (Helicoverpa zea) have been reported in Pemiscot and Scott Counties. This is the 6th alert for Pemiscot County and the 1st for Scott County. A list of 2011 alerts can be viewed here.
Corn Earworm captures in a pheromone trap do not indicate that treatment is necessary, but indicate that fields should be scouted. Be aware that this alert applies only to Corn Earworm.
