Where are the Rice Stink Bugs now?

The photo at right has nine Rice Stink Bug adults on Little Barley in a corn field yesterday (13 May 2011) near where Rice Stink Bugs were found in wheat last month. The same day there were very few Rice Stink Bugs in the wheat. This is what Rice Stink Bugs do, move through the (agro-) ecosystem feeding on the grasses that are most suitable for them. Our own Dr. Tindall has added to this knowledge.

The wheat is fine and the corn will continue to  be scouted and watched for problems.
